Specialising in perinatal and women’s mental health
Suze has worked in a number of different areas over the years with a range of client groups; individuals, couples, families and children. More recently, Suze has specialized in working with women in the perinatal period. We know women are particularly vulnerable to experiencing mental health issues during this time, however we know that seeking help improves mental health outcomes for mum and baby. Suze enjoys this work enormously and is skilled at working with women to identify the issues that are getting in the way of living a full and meaningful life.
Suze has a Bachelor of Social Work and an Advanced Masters in Social Work Practice. She has done extensive training over the years in a range of therapeutic models including Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Suze has two adult children, loves a good book, walking in the Gorge, and does yoga most days. Suze is authentic, open, warm and genuinely loves working with women of all ages and at all stages who are struggling with mental health issues or facing challenges in their lives that are keeping them from living their best life. Suze’s vision is to provide quality therapeutic services to women and their chosen support people, to create positive change to build a life of meaning and joy.
